Outbox Europe Launch
Outbox is now launching its Europe initiative. Looking into the future, the vision remains the same, with focus on innovation and fan engagement. Outbox continues to strive to assist clients to help enhance operations, revenue optimisation and technology. While its core competency remains in ticketing, Outbox is focusing on integrating into the whole venue and promoter eco-system. Outbox continues to help its clients outperform, outthink and outdo.

New Markets
Fast forward to 2019, when Outbox sold its participation in AXS to founding partner AEG. Outbox is now marketing its solutions worldwide directly, starting with clients such as the MLS Montréal Impact and Just for Laughs Festival. Outbox also began expanding its timed-entry solution for restricted capacity exhibitions, such as “Imagine Van Gogh” & “PY1” immersive events. With Outbox, “Imagine Van Gogh” was able to finely adjust its visitor capacity and flow in accordance with restrictions and regulations through the Covid-19 pandemic.

2016
Expansion of the White-Label Model
Outbox continues its market rollout in several Asian markets such as China and Singapore. Cirque also fully leverages the Outbox connectivity, with over 20 distribution channels worldwide connecting directly with the Outbox system to access and sell Cirque seat inventory in real-time. With the Outbox centralised tool to manage ticket availability, pricing and reporting, Cirque managers only need to access the Outbox system to manage tickets sales through a multitude of third-party ticket agencies and distributors.

A New Partnership - Outbox & AEG Create AXS
In 2011, international promoter and building operator AEG approached Outbox to utilise their technology in their venues. This led to the creation of AXS, a joint venture between AEG and Outbox. Outbox was rolled out in over 100 AEG venues world-wide such as the Staples Center, the O2 Arena in London, Wembley Arena, Stockholm Live and Hyde Park BST festival.

2010
Growing International Presence
Following a Nevada Gaming Board extensive review process and certification in 2010, Outbox was selected as the ticketing system for the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Outbox also deployed its first system in Africa in partnership with “Big Concerts”, the largest South African concert promoter.

Concerts & Sports Expansion
In 2008, following the successful Cirque system launch, Outbox was selected by Montreal Bell Centre, the Canadiens (NHL) and evenko. With this first arena and sports team clients, Outbox continued its development by releasing new modules such as season tickets management and ticket resale. Thanks to its patented Waiting Room™, Outbox handled several large on-sales with evenko and the Canadiens, including the largest U2 grossing shows at the Montréal Hippodrome with over 180,000 tickets.

2005
Outbox Founded in 2005 and Cirque du Soleil is First Client
One of Outbox founding principles is that venues and promoters with a strong brand do not need a “middleman”, what they need is a state-of-the-art ticketing and marketing tool to connect with their consumers. In 2006, Cirque du Soleil shared that view. Within Outbox, they found the best system to handle their worldwide touring shows. Built on a multi-language, multi-currency platform, Cirque was able to drive its shows’ brand through an omnichannel white-labelled environment, while safely handling large ticket volumes. Cirque quickly expanded its use of the Outbox platform from North America to Europe, Russia, Asia and Australia in over 20 countries worldwide.
